Antiquing in Quebec

As I planned my #FCRoadTrip travels through southern Quebec, I was rather excited to discover that the region known as “Centre-du-Quebec” (aka the bit between Quebec City and Montreal), is a haven for antiques and antiquing. Who knew!?

Being that my mum and I have a bit of a thing for antiques, we decided to pop into Michel Prince, one of the major antique stores along Highway 20. The store was endless, and every corner was occupied by fascinating bits and bobs, from end tables to bookshelves, and old wooden dumbbells to postcards.

They must’ve thought I was reaalllllly interested in buying a lot, because I couldn’t stop taking photos while we were in there!

Here are some of my favourite photos from our fascinating wanders through Michel Prince.

Antique Dumbbells Michel Prince Quebec

Said antique dumbbells – only 1 lb…how quaint!

Vintage Quebec License Plates

La Belle Province. Vintage QC license plates. I came thisclose to buying one (or several).

Antique Lamps at Michel Prince

Great selection of antique lamps

This experience was part of my #FCRoadTrip prize of 3 nights in Quebec and 3 nights in Ontario. Big thanks to Alicia and Gillian at Flight Centre Canada for organising the logistics of the trip!

    • Hahaha fair enough. I didn’t actually buy anything, I just love looking. I want to buy, but I also don’t want to commit to “nice” furniture. Ikea works best cause I never know when I’m going to leave again!
